HISTORY
350 North Orlean was built in the mid-1970s by the legendary firm of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. The building was initially designed to be the world’s most extensive collection of apparel showroom spaces, featuring over 1,000 display showrooms, and representing over 3,000 clothing lines. Directly overlooking the Chicago River, the building yields large and efficient floor plates, high ceilings, spectacular views of the skyline, and an abundance of natural light. The 1.3 million square foot building has earned WiredScore Platinum score for its excellent digital infrastructure, as well as receiving a LEED Gold Certification from the US Green Building Council. Having established itself as home to a number of high-profile businesses over the years, 350 North Orleans is a staple amongst the Chicago skyline.
